Possibilities

“Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we know all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there? But am I talking too much? People are always telling me I do. Would you rather I didn't talk? If you say so I'll stop. I can STOP when I make up my mind to it, although it's difficult.”

  1. I'll let you know when I find out about everything. Until then, don't hold your breath for it to happen. :) Love the spring weather. :)

  2. Bill, my daughters and I have been watching the new version of "Anne of Green Gables" on TV--I absolutely love the original story by Montgomery, and she inspired me to share this quote. No, I don't think we will ever find out about everything until we're in Heaven.

  4. Shauna - It's not my wisdom; Montgomery created so many wonderful characters and wrote so beautifully. She's worth reading (or at least looking up on the internet).
